How to apply

The Course

The Level 3 Awards in Advanced Welding Skills are ideal if you’ve worked in welding for some time, have plenty of experience and want to develop your skills further so that you can undertake complex welding work and quality control.

You can choose to develop your skills in the following areas:

  • Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG)
  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)

The courses are flexible and can be started throughout the academic year. The courses take place in the evenings from 6-9pm.

The course is aimed at anyone already working in the industry who wants to develop their welding skills further and advance their career.
An Award in Advanced Welding Skills could help you develop your welding career and take on jobs that require specialist welding skills.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
