How to apply

The Course

This course includes an industry placement of a minimum of 9 weeks, working with an employer.

Core content:

Students will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:

The business environment
Careers within the legal profession
Regulation
Professionalism and ethics
Security and risk
Equality, diversity and inclusion requirements
Third party professional services
The fundamentals of law
The fundamentals of financial accounting
An awareness of digital and emerging technology, digital transformation and digital tools
Data driven innovation, analytics and design thinking
Research skills
Project and change management approaches in legal contexts

Entry requirements

Typically you will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C (or above), including grade 4/C (or above) for maths and English.

Next steps

T Levels offer many opportunities for progression, including:

Employment – You can use the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained to start working in careers in the legal industry.
Apprenticeship – There are many opportunities offered through apprenticeships that allow you to carry on learning (20%) whilst spending most of your time (80%) furthering your skills in the workplace
Higher Education – If you choose to study further, your T Level is worth UCAS points and will allow you entry onto certain courses. Please check the UCAS website as course entry requirements vary

The overall aim of this T Level is to see you progress into a career in the legal sector.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
