The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering & Technology is designed to prepare you for work within the engineering industries or to progress to the Level 3 Engineering course at the College. It has a more practical focus (in comparison to the Level 3) with work-related coursework and projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It covers the basic knowledge and technical practical skills, providing a good foundation for future career or qualification opportunities.
This course can also offer plumbing and electrical installation options for
those intending or wishing to pursue a career in these
industries.
On successful completion of this qualification, you
could progress to higher-level Engineering, Electrical Installation or
Plumbing courses at the College, subject to satisfactory attendance and
performance.
