How to apply

The Course

If you are creative and have passion and flair for make-up, this is the course for you! You will gain a good academic grounding in the principles and theory of make-up and will learn:

the principles of working in the make-up industry
anatomy and physiology for make-up artists
the principles of research, planning and showcasing designs
the art of applying make-up
hair artistry
creative make-up artistry

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of grade 4/C for both GCSE English and maths. You will also need two other GCSEs at grade 3/D or above.

Next steps

You could progress to the Level Theatrical, Special Effects Hair and Media Make-up course at the College.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
