How to apply

The Course

In these challenging times, learning to cook your own meals from scratch can help you save money, plus you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make new friends and have fun along the way! On this course you will create a variety of dishes and learn many new techniques, such as knife skills, and use different ingredients to make make soups, vegetable and fish dishes, amongst others. You don’t need to have any previous experience, just bring along your enthusiasm for cooking.

A keen interest in expanding your practical cookery skills.
This course will help you to make delicious meals at home and you can also progress onto a Level 2 cooking course here at the College. You could also progress into employment in the industry.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
