How to apply

The Course
This course covers the essential knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in domestic plumbing and heating, including:
- Domestic hot and cold water systems
- Central heating systems
- Sanitation systems
- Environmental technologies
- Gas safety
The course is ideal if you are wanting to become a plumber or domestic heating engineer. It provides all the basic domestic heating and plumbing training you need to start work in the industry.
These qualifications can help you to progress in a wide range of roles within the domestic plumbing and heating sector, including:
- Heating and ventilation engineer
- Specialised craftsperson (plumber or heating engineer)
- Project development manager
- Senior skilled operative
The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
Funding for Adult Courses
You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you are 19+ there may be funding options available to cover the cost of your course.
