T Levels offer many opportunities for progression, including:
- Employment – You can use the skills, knowledge and experience you have
gained to start working in careers such as studio sound engineeer, audio
visual technician, live sound engineer, TV or film sound technician,
stagehand, lighting technician, TV or film production assistant, video editor,
media researcher TV or film assistant director, broadcast engineer, TV or film
camera operator and many more.
- Apprenticeship – There are many opportunities offered through
apprenticeships that allow you to carry on learning (20%) whilst spending most
of your time (80%) furthering your skills in the workplace
- Higher Education – If you choose to study further, your T Level is worth
UCAS points and will allow you entry onto certain courses. Please check the
UCAS website as course entry requirements vary
The overall aim of this T Level is to see you progress into a career in the
media, broadcast and production sector.
