How to apply

The Course

This qualification has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide and maintain nail enhancements and manicure treatments. Plus, to further enhance your practical skills you will study an additional unit on nail art

You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a salon environment and how to promote client care and communications in beauty related sectors. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.

The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in nail technology to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.

Entry requirements

A qualification in manicure is an advantage but not essential. You will need a keen interest in nail enhancements along with the motivation and time to practice at home.

Next steps

You could progress onto the Level 3 Nail Technology or the Level 2 Gel Polish courses at the College.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
