How to apply

The Course

This is a knowledge-based qualification, which can assist an individual’s understanding of various mental health issues. Units include: 
 

  • Understanding mental health
  • Understanding stress 
  • Understanding anxiety 
  • Understanding phobias 
  • Understanding depression 
  • Understanding post-natal depression 
  • Understanding eating disorders 
  • Understanding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) 
  • Understanding obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) 
  • Understanding post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

This is a distance learning course and you will study and be assessed online, allowing you to fit in your study around your other commitments.

There are no entry requirements for this course. However a good level of Englsih and a reasonable level of IT skills are required
You could progress onto other Level 2 NCFE courses offered by the College.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
