How to apply

The Course

In the current economic climate in can be expensive to conduct minor repairs or to renovate your property. The level 1 award in Carpentry and Joinery is ideal for anybody wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required to maintain your home or to get started on your next project. The course will provide you with practical skills required to undertake tasks such as, mitre joints architrave and skirting as well as other essential skills required to get your next projected completed.. Completion of this course could enable you to progress on to a full Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery’

After successful completion of this course you can progress onto a higher level course at the College. We also offer a variety of other part-time courses in construction and other areas.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
