The Course

This course is for anyone who has completed Level 2 Hairdressing or has the relevant industry experience in a salon. This study programme will enable you to further develop your skills to an advanced level whilst evolving your creativity through cutting, colouring and styling. You will work on creating avant-garde styles incorporating long hair techniques and styling for catwalk and competitions. You will have the opportunity to attend external events and workshops such as Wella Studios/Schwarzkopf training and employer-led workshops. Students are actively encouraged to enter competitions both locally and nationally, including Worldskills, which enhances future career prospects and is a valuable addition to any CV. This study programme is suitable for all ages. Ideally you will have GCSE Maths and/or English at grade 4/C (adult learners will need to have a good basic level of education and the motivation to learn).
