The Course

This great course gives you a comprehensive insight into the travel and tourism industry, and will enhance your learning with genuine work experience, an overseas residential visit and the opportunity to gain an Air Cabin Crew Certificate or an Event Planning Certificate. On the course you’ll learn about diverse sectors of the travel and tourism industry such as the European travel market, long-haul destinations, the cruise sector, sustainable tourism and the UK as a tourist destination.

Additionally, in the second year you will study either NCFE Air Cabin Crew Certificate or NCFE Level 2 Event Planning.

Typically you will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C, including a 4/3 (C/D) combination for maths and English.
On completion you enter employment or, if you achieve a Merit or Distinction, progress  to a HNC/D in Travel and Tourism Management. On the first year of the course you will be enrolled on the BTEC Fast-track Diploma and upon successful completion you may be able to progress to the 2nd year of the BTEC Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
