How to apply

The Course

This course is ideal for those who wish to expand their current men’s hairdressing and barbering skills. It is an opportunity to gain more knowledge plus learn the latest cutting and colouring techniques for men’s hairdressing. The course includes the following modules:

Monitor and Maintain Health and Safety Practices
Promote and Sell Prodcuts and Services to Clients
Consultation Support for Colleagues
Creative Hairdressing Design Skills
Research in the Hair and Beauty Sector
Cut Facial Hair to Create a Variety of Looks
Cut Men’s Hair to Create a Variety of Looks
Colour Hair to Create a Variety of Looks

Entry requirements

You will need to hold a Level 2 qualification in Barbering or Hairdressing (subject to a skills test), or have significant industry experience.

Next steps

Progression to Level 3 Hairdressing at the College or an advanced cutting and colouring course.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
