How to apply

The Course

The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a Level 3 qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university. The course is structured to allow you to develop both knowledge of the subjects and academic study skills that will prepare you for study at higher education level. Your Personal Development Tutor will provide support and guidance throughout the programme and will encourage you to reflect on your progress, identify your strengths and areas to develop and will be there to help you to stay on track. Our Health pathway is a challenging programme which develops in-depth understanding in the fields of biology, health studies and psychology. You will develop an extensive understanding of these subjects through a combination of theory and practical sessions, delivered and facilitated by highly knowledgeable and experienced teachers who understand the requirements of higher education and how to prepare you to progress to university.
