How to apply

The Course

This Level 3 course in Bricklaying adds to the knowledge and skills gained at Level 2 with both practical units and underpinning knowledge. Units that you will study include safe working practices, building methods and construction technology, carrying out structural and decorative brickwork, repair and maintenance of masonry structures and the erection of complex structures. You will learn about the construction industry, understanding construction terms, building methods and construction technology.

Note: this course is subject to Level 3 reform funding.

Typically you will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C), including a 4/3 (C/D) combination for maths and English.
You could progress to a Level 4 Construction/Civil Engineering course to employment in the construction industry.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
