The Access to HE Diploma (Art and Design) course is an integrated and supported year that is project based and underpinned with high expectations for reflective practice. It will enable students to experience working within different art and design disciplines during taught workshops from specialist staff, as well as independently revisiting areas they wish to specialise in. It will provide students with the knowledge, awareness and skills they need to progress into higher education, such as academic research and writing, as well as guidance for the creation of a specialist subject portfolio for university interviews.
