The Course

This qualification is suitable for students wishing to develop more advanced technical skills in patisserie and confectionery. It is for students who work or want to work as patisserie chefs in the catering and hospitality sector. The course allows students to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the catering and hospitality sector.

Five GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their study programme. Level 2 Professional Cookery or equivalent.
