The Course

Are you a creative and practical learner who is looking to develop your work readiness and social skills alongside your desired career pathway? This course will provide you with exciting opportunities to develop practical skills in Professional Cookery, Food and beverage service and customer service. In addition, you will develop skills to plan and run an event, brand your own product whilst researching actions to protect the environment.


You will also develop your maths and English and softer skills in building confidence and resilience which will enable you to progress to a full Diploma course in Professional Cookery or Proficiency in Baking.


You will be part of a forward-thinking innovative department with further opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, such as competitions, trips, working with the community and undertaking an exciting project of your own.

You could progress onto full Level 2 courses in either Professional Cookery (includes Food & Beverage Service) or Professional Bakery.
