How to apply

The Course

The course is an introduction to modern business practice including the importance of leadership, decision-making and marketing, human resources and the financial side of running a business like Superdry or Sainsbury’s. The course has been updated to include the use of financial and marketing data, and the use of social media in the modern business environment. Students will explore the influence of external factors on the fortunes of a medium-/large-sized business in the 21st century.

A1 Business:
On the first year of the course you will study what business is about, leadership, motivation theory and key aspects of decision-making. The course content has a strong emphasis on developing business numerical skills and the application of business theory.

A2 Business:
The second year of the course examines strategic decision-making and the fundamentals of change management. The course gives students relevant business skills and is challenging and interesting. The course will be assessed by three exams at the end of the second year.
