Biology is a rapidly developing science at the forefront of many important developments in society. It is a fascinating subject, studying topics such as advances in cloning, gene technology, drug testing and forensics. Biology looks at the study of life and living organisms. It is a branch of natural science and involves many other disciplines such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, geography and psychology. Qualified biologists have an important role in social, environmental, economic and technological contexts.

What else can you do on this course? Field trips include a visit to Anglesey to study seashore life; a trip to Keele University Life Science labs and the opportunity to carry out plenty of other practical work
