How to apply

The Course

If you want to be a bright spark, be an electrician! Demand for qualified electricians remains high and this course in our brand new facilities will set you off on the right track.

Electricians can be self-employed or work directly for companies, so if you want a job that’s far from 9 to 5, then a career as an electrician could be perfect. The course will include covering
electrotechnical knowledge, electrical science and the practical application of
theory in the workshop.

You will need a grade 4/C in both GCSE maths and English and two other GCSEs at Grade 3/D or above. You will also need to have previously completed the Level 2 qualification.
You could progress on to an apprenticeship in electrical installation or a foundation degree in electrical/electronic engineering.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
