How to apply

The Course

This Site Carpentry qualification has been developed for achievement in a real working environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment so you can work as a Site Carpenter within the construction industry. You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification.

This qualification is suitable for learners who are experienced in working within the construction industry. Their work might involve supervising others and they are looking to develop their skills further and progress into a senior role or a position with more responsibility.
Following the successful completion of this training you could move into supervisory roles or higher education courses at the College such as HNC/D or Top-up Degree in the Construction sector.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
