How to apply

The Course
Do you have a technical mind and enjoy problem-solving? This course will give you a broad overview of IT, media and business and introduce you to the many different areas in which you could work. You’ll develop your personal skills and gain the key practical vocational skills you’ll need to work in different environments. Overall it will give you a great introduction – enabling you to get an IT, media or business-related job or move on to more specialised IT, media or business training or training in another area at Level 2. You will also work towards developing your English and maths.

Mandatory
- Being Organised
- Developing a Personal Progression Plan
- Working with Others
- Researching a Topic
Optional:
- Organising a Meeting
- Creating Storyboards
- Designing an Interactive Presentation
- Developing Digital Information Using IT
- Using Digital Communication Technologies
- Creating a Spreadsheet to Solve Problems
The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
Funding for Adult Courses
You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you are 19+ there may be funding options available to cover the cost of your course.
