The CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice is one of a
NEW range of courses offered by the CIPD. It is a Foundation-level,
professional qualification based on the CIPD Profession Map. Each unit has
clear link to the Map which was launched in 2018, having been developed in
collaboration with a wide range of experts working at the heart of the
profession. It sets the international benchmark for the people profession and
provides a strong foundation to give people professionals the confidence and
capabilities to guide their decision-making, actions and behaviours.
This qualification introduces the learner to a wide range of
relevant knowledge and expertise in people practice. It is suited to those
learners who are studying, aspiring to, or embarking on, a career in people
practice, are working in a people practice support role and wish to develop
their knowledge and deliver immediate and short-term value for their
organisation, wish to develop the specialist knowledge, skills and understanding
required to be a people professional.
To be awarded the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice,
learners are required to successfully complete all four mandatory core units,
which are:
-Business, culture and change in context
-Principles of
analytics
-Core behaviours for people professionals
-Essentials of
people practice
Attendance and personal study commitment
Attendance is one evening a week between 5pm and 9pm with the opportunity to book a one to one tutorial with your Tutor between 4–5pm.
The total qualification time is 240 with college led guided learning hours of 120, the qualification has a total credit value 24 credits. This means that a commitment of 120 hours of personal study time is required to undertake the course.
There are no exams on this course, all assessments are written with some
practical activities also.
