The Course

Our Level 2 City and Guilds course will prepare you for exciting employment opportunities. Airlines are currently targeting mature applications for the role of cabin crew, so if you are looking for a career change or have always wanted to travel the world then this is the course for you!

In our real aircraft cabin you will develop and practice the skills required for this exciting industry.

You will study core units including:

  • Airline Emergency Procedures
  • Role of Air Cabin Crew (On Board)
  • Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew

You’ll will also gain valuable knowledge and skills, such as:

  • airline industry terminology
  • the role of air cabin crew
  • health, safety and security procedures
  • customer service
  • selling skills
  • making passenger announcements

You will develop the personal and interpersonal skills required to be a member of air cabin crew. Practical skills include in flight service, sales techniques, complaint handling and lifesaving activities such as firefighting and emergency evaucations, which also includes aviation medical procedures.

There are no formal entry requirements for the course and any requirements will be discussed with the course tutor during enrolment.
On successful completion of the course you could progress into a cabin crew role or a number of other roles within the aviation industry.
