How to apply

The Course

This great course gives you a comprehensive insight into the travel and tourism industry, and will enhance your learning with genuine work experience, and an overseas residential visit. There may be an opportunity within the second year of study to undertake specific training around cabin crew and aviation roles within the industry. On the course you’ll learn about diverse sectors of the travel and tourism industry such as the European travel market, long-haul destinations, the cruise sector, sustainable tourism and the UK as a tourist destination.

Typically you will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C, including a 4/3 (C/D) combination for maths and English.
On completion you enter employment or, if you achieve a Merit or Distinction, progress to a HNC/D in Travel and Tourism Management. On the first year of the course you will be enrolled on the BTEC Introductory Diploma and upon successful completion you may be able to progress to the 2nd year of the BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
