How to apply

The Course

Steady Steps in English is a practical course designed to help adults build confidence in using English in everyday situations. You will develop essential reading, writing, speaking and listening skills through tasks that reflect real-life communication. The course introduces simple ways to make requests, share personal information, understand basic texts and take part in short conversations.

Lessons are centred on common daily activities, such as following instructions, completing straightforward forms and expressing your needs clearly. This step-by-step approach helps you strengthen your foundation skills and understand how English functions in real-world contexts.

Steady Steps in English is an ideal starting point if you want to refresh your skills before progressing into further study or returning to education.
