The Course

This introductory course is designed for students interested in exploring both motor vehicle maintenance and engineering. It offers a practical and hands-on introduction to essential skills in both sectors, providing a strong foundation for further study or future employment.

Students will develop an understanding of basic vehicle repair techniques alongside key engineering principles. The course combines workshop-based tasks with classroom learning to help students build confidence in using tools, working safely, and understanding core processes involved in both industries.

As part of the study programme, students will also undertake work experience and receive support with English and maths, helping them to build the skills needed for progression.
