How to apply

The Course

If you are currently working within the construction industry, and wish to upskill and specialise, the Level 3 certificate in Fabrication and Welding Techniques and Skills is the ideal course for you.

 

The course aims to increase a learners skill level and enhance their knowledge, to raise their ability from basic welding and fabrication skills to more developed. Students can expect to have a much higher understanding of equipment functions and how materials behave when subjected to fabrication and welding process. 

 

You will work with experienced teachers in outstanding facilities and if you don’t already hold a Level 3 qualification you could study for free.

 

 

Students will be assessed through the Skills and Education Group’s practical and online multiple-choice assessments. The practical tasks that take place in the workbooks are graded at pass, merit and distinction. The Science and Calculation unit is assessed via externally set and graded multiple choice question assessment.

The course is aimed at anyone already working in the industry who wants to develop their welding skills further and advance their career.
This course will help you develop your welding career and take on jobs that require specialist welding skills.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
