How to apply

The Course

This online course helps you understand how care planning supports individuals in health and social care settings. It is suitable for those working in care roles or those looking to develop their knowledge in this area.

You will learn how care plans are created and used to meet individual needs. The course explores how to assess needs, set goals, and review care to ensure it remains effective. You will also look at how to support individuals in a person centred way.

You will develop an understanding of the importance of communication, record keeping, and working with others involved in care. The course also covers how to maintain accurate information and follow procedures.

This course provides practical knowledge that can be applied in care settings and helps you support individuals with confidence.

There are no formal qualifications required. An interest in health and social care and supporting individuals is recommended.
You can progress onto a Level 3 qualification in health and social care or move into roles that involve planning and delivering care.
