Hospitality and Catering

Whether you want to work in a restaurant kitchen, front-of-house, or progress to managing a hotel of your own, our Hospitality and Catering courses lead to many exciting opportunities as you gain the skills and qualifications to start your career, or progress to university.

Throughout your studies, you’ll have access to our modern commercial kitchens including our on-site AA Rosette standard Academy Restaurants, where you will learn to prepare exquisite culinary creations. We also have hospitality, food, and beverage service courses where you can learn about the finer details of service in our commercially-run, fine dining restaurants.

You will also have the opportunity to provide catering at large corporate events inside and outside of Cheshire College, helping you build your experience and increase your employability.

Where you could go next

Our students have gone onto have successful careers as chefs, events managers, food technologists, hotel managers, hotel receptionists, kitchen managers and restaurant supervisors.

Cheshire College is proud to have strong links with regional and national employers within the industry including MSK, Brunning and Price, Luke Thomas, One Planet, Nantwich FC, and Chester Racecourse. These relationships benefit our students immensely as they explore work placements, advice and employment opportunities.
