THE NEWS AT CHESHIRE COLLEGE:

Cheshire College Esports & Games Development Students Receive F1 Racing Simulators

April 23, 2024

Esports and Games Development students at Cheshire College – South & West’s Crewe Campus have been delighted to receive a delivery of two F1 racing simulators from the Williams F1 Racing Team, secured through T Level funding.

These simulators use the latest, innovative technology to deliver an incredible racing experience, giving students everything they need to compete alongside some of the best simulator racers in the world.

Not only will this latest delivery expand Cheshire College’s state-of-the-art offering in Esports and Games Development even further, but it will also prepare students for an upcoming trip in which they will compete against nine other Colleges nationally at the Williams Grand Prix factory.

Throughout their studies, Games and Media students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources such as Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Maya and Unreal Engine.

As a Creative Media student, you’ll also be given the opportunity to make your own website and promote creative and written work including your very own magazine, radio show, photography portfolio and films.
