Are you practical and good at problem-solving? Then why not consider working towards a career in the manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or engineering industry, where there is high demand for new employees and a fresh perspective.
Throughout your studies, you’ll have access to industry-standard equipment to develop your skills, achieving a broader understanding of engineering in real workshop settings and specially fitted classrooms.
Cheshire College is proud to have strong links with regional and national employers within the industry including Bentley Motors, Stellantis, Ecolab, and National Grid. These relationships benefit our students immensely as they explore work placements, advice and apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
Our students have progressed to employment within the industry in roles such as a CAD technician, engineering fitter, maintenance welder and electrical engineer. Others have advanced to higher education courses and apprenticeships.
