Cheshire College – South & West, in partnership with The Pledge, hosted a series of Careers and Education Fairs across its Crewe, Ellesmere Port, and Chester campuses, welcoming over 5,000 students and 160 exhibitors.
The events brought together students from over 21 local secondary schools, as well as Cheshire College students, and members of the public, all eager to explore future career and education opportunities.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of employers and education providers, including major organisations such as Bentley Motors, British Army, NHS, Puregym, Stellantis, and Chester Zoo,
In addition to employers, the events featured multiple higher education institutions, further education providers, and independent training organisations, offering guidance on the many pathways available after school or college.

Jasbir Dhesi OBE, Principal and CEO of Cheshire College, commented:
“Our partnership with The Pledge is a powerful example of how education and industry can work together to support young people.”
“Whether it’s students in Year 11 thinking about their next step, or our own students preparing for life after college, it’s vital they have the chance to speak directly with employers. These conversations help them understand the skills needed, the opportunities available, and give them the confidence to make informed decisions about their future.”
The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership is a fully funded programme that helps bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring young people develop the skills needed for successful futures.
Cheshire College is proud to play a part in this initiative, helping to shape the region’s talent pipeline and inspire the workforce of tomorrow.
