Actress Su Pollard visited Cheshire College – South & West’s Crewe Campus to meet Art & Design students and launch a live design brief for this year’s Crewe Lyceum pantomime.
Su, who will star as the Godmother in this year’s production of Sleeping Beauty, visited the College to meet Year 2 BTEC Level 3 Art & Design students and share the brief for the costumes and display props they will create for the production.
The partnership follows the success of students’ costume work for last year’s pantomime and a recent Crewe Lyceum Youth Theatre production, with the theatre once again inviting students to bring their ideas and creative skills to this year’s show.

The project will give students the chance to develop their designs in response to a live industry brief, while gaining valuable experience of the creative process behind a major pantomime production.
The collaboration with Crewe Lyceum forms part of Cheshire College’s wider approach to providing students with opportunities to work on live projects and apply their skills in professional settings.
