Our Introduction to Creative Craft course offers two pathways, allowing you to focus on the creative skills that interest you most.
Creative Craft ArtOn the Creative Craft Art pathway, you will explore a variety of arts and crafts using different materials and simple techniques. You will have the opportunity to try different creative activities, develop your own ideas and produce your own finished pieces.
You will:
Use a range of materials and techniques
Explore different arts and crafts activities
Develop your own creative ideas
Create and finish your own pieces
On the Introduction to Textiles pathway, you will learn the basics of working with fabric and making garments. This pathway is ideal if you would like to try sewing and develop some of the practical skills used in fashion and clothing.
You will:
Learn how to use basic sewing equipment
Explore different fabrics and materials
Practise simple sewing techniques
Learn how pieces of fabric are put together
Make your own simple clothing
No previous experience is needed for either pathway.
The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.

Do I pay this fee?
Higher Education courses such as HNCs and HNDs can be self-funded through a payment plan. However, for eligible students, a tuition fee loan can fund your course through Student Finance England and you may be eligible for a maintenance loan to support your education.
Please note, you should apply for your loan before the course starts. You only commit to the loan once you begin attending the course.
