T Level Placement and Work Experience Team Leader (EL449)

Salary: £30,881 – £34,745 (per annum)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

We are seeking a Team Leader who can build links internally and externally with local businesses and secure work placements for our learners to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus with flexibility to work across all campuses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Team Leader to provide learners with an outstanding work placement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Business Development, Faculty Coordinators, and Assistant Directors to provide outstanding service to learners, staff, employers, parents and other stakeholders; 
  • Supervise and participate in employer engagement, negotiation and the generation of placement opportunities to meet the needs of the College and its learners;  
  • Promoting and Safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with College policies; and 
  • Lead the Work Experience team. 

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent)
  • Business Administration Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths; 
  • IT qualification or willingness to work to achieve an appropriate standard; 
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements; 
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment; ;  
  • Up-to-date occupational experience; and 
  • Enhanced DBS Check.
