Salary: £24,452 – £36,890 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

We are seeking a Lecturer in Maths to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Lecturer to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience on GCSE and Functional Skills Maths resit courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and teach on a range of Maths Courses including GCSE and Functional Skills;
  • Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College; and
  • Deliver outstanding outcomes for learners.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree in Maths (or equivalent) in relevant discipline;
  • A-Level Maths or similar discipline;
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards;
  • Proven experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths;
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
  • Experience of working in further Education; and
  • Up-to-date occupational experience.
