Cheshire College hosts the annual Freemen and Guild Awards of 2026!

Cheshire College is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of its students at the annual Freemen and Guild Awards. This long-standing tradition recognises exceptional talent and dedication through a variety of trades and disciplines in partnership with the historic Freemen and Guilds of the City of Chester.

Students and their guests, staff and Guild members will gather for an evening of recognition with awards presented to students who have excelled in skills that connect to the Guild’s rich heritage. From traditional crafts to modern trades, the event aims to highlight the value of skill and commitment in shaping future careers.

The College continues their strong decades-long partnership to see its students’ talents celebrated in such a prestigious setting. The Freemen and Guilds Awards not only celebrate individual awards but showcase the strength of vocational education and its role in preserving skills for generations to come.
