Thrive at Cheshire College as an Apprentice

Cheshire College has over 1,000 apprentices and works with over 500 local, national and international employers. The College delivers apprenticeships across a wide range of sectors, including health, public services and care; engineering and manufacturing; construction and building services; information and communications technology; retail and commercial enterprise; education and training; and business, administration and law.

Scottish Power Pre-Apprenticeship Programme

The Scottish Power pre-apprenticeship starts each September at Cheshire College Ellesmere Port, giving you the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto their electrical engineering apprenticeship. Ideal for motivated learners with a positive attitude.

Qualification

Work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologies, gaining hands-on skills for the workplace.

Experience

Train at the official Scottish Power Training Centre and gain real industry experience that gives you a competitive edge in the job market.

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you are 19+ there may be funding options available to cover the cost of your course.
