The Honours Programme is the programme for students who aspire to secure a place at universities such as the prestigious Russell Group, high-level employment or an apprenticeship.
The Russell Group represents 24 leading UK universities that maintain the very best research, outstanding teaching and learning and have unrivalled links with businesses and the public sector.
Key features:
This strand is aimed at students whose future career and study aspirations will lead them towards leadership roles. Co-curricular support will focus on training in leadership skills, critical thinking and mentoring from alumni and leaders in the community.
Throughout the academic year, there will be opportunities for students to engage in Critical Thinking workshops designed to hone skills for successful academic study. These skills include logical reasoning, the ability to think analytically, to evaluate others’ arguments and to develop your own.
A three-week programme for our final year students to make sure they are prepared for university life! Students will obtain skills such as budgeting, understand what to do on results day, and learn about processes such as Clearing.
If your family member or friend is part of the Futures Programme, there’s many ways you can support them and ensure they always aspire to achieve everything they can. Click here to visit our Support Corner page for some helpful resources.
