The Kitchens and Hospitality facilities at Crewe Campus give students the chance to learn in realistic professional environments using industry-standard facilities.
These modern training spaces help students build confidence, develop practical skills and prepare for careers within the hospitality and catering industry.
Students gain hands-on experience in professional kitchens, restaurant service environments and commercial hospitality settings throughout their studies. This helps students understand the standards and teamwork expected within the industry while developing valuable experience for their future careers.
Students train within The Academy Restaurant, an award-winning restaurant environment inspired by Manchester’s Northern Quarter, alongside fully equipped professional kitchens and The Academy Deli. Students develop skills in professional cookery, food preparation and front of house service using industry-standard catering equipment and modern kitchen technology that reflects real hospitality workplaces. Throughout the year, students also have opportunities to work alongside local businesses and experienced chefs during themed dining events and hospitality experiences, helping them build confidence and prepare for employment within the industry.
