Salary: £23,492 (pro rata per annum) (£20,500 per annum)

Hours: 37 hours per week (8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday). Part year working 36 weeks 4 days per year.
Location: Crewe Campus
This is an excellent opportunity to join our Learner Services team to contribute and support attendance tracking and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor absence information throughout the day and ensure College systems are updated;
- Support the Personal Development Tutors in absence follow-ups, escalations and actions;
- Take appropriate action where an absence could indicate a missing child or a learner at risk and report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately to initiate further action;
- Make direct contact with learners to ascertain reasons for un-certified absences and liaise with parents/carers; and
- Prepare and issue regular reports on absence trends to the Personal Development Manager.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in IT or equivalent;
- Level 2 or GCSE (C/4/5) or equivalent, in English and Maths;
- Evidence of ongoing professional development;
- Experience of using spreadsheets, databases and inputting data;
- Experience of monitoring and review systems including filing and maintaining records;
- Experience in liaising with members of the public and problem solving;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to self-manage, prioritise and work effectively under pressure;
- Good digital literacy skills; and
- Enhanced DBS check.
