If you enjoy an active lifestyle and competition, as well as having a passion for fitness and health, our Sports courses could be a winner.
Throughout your studies, you’ll be involved in a mixture of both theory and practical lessons with specialist coaching whilst also benefiting from our impressive facilities, including a fully equipped gym and fitness studio, sports arena, ATP-approved tennis courts, an outdoor multi-use games area. Our Crewe Campus even has a climbing wall.
Cheshire College is proud to have strong links with a range of sporting organisations including the Cheshire Phoenix professional basketball team, Airbus UK Broughton, Manchester City, Everton, School Sports Partnership, and Cheshire FA. These relationships benefit our students immensely as they explore work placements, advice and employment opportunities.
Our Sports students have progressed onto employment within the industry in roles such as a fitness instructor, sports development officer, sports nutritionist and sports psychologist. Our Football and Basketball Academy students have also gone onto prestigious scholarships at universities overseas.
Interested in being a student athlete? You may be Cheshire College’s latest signing! Our Football and Basketball Academy allows you to combine your passion for sport whilst achieving an academic qualification during your time at the College.

We got to work with primary school children, doing events like athletics, basketball and gymnastics, and I really enjoyed that.
