Throughout your studies, you’ll be involved in a mixture of both theory and practical lessons with specialist coaching whilst also benefiting from our impressive facilities, including a fully equipped gym and fitness studio, sports arena, ATP-approved tennis courts, an outdoor multi-use games area. Our Crewe Campus even has a climbing wall.
Cheshire College is proud to have strong links with a range of sporting organisations including the Cheshire Phoenix professional basketball team, Airbus UK Broughton, Manchester City, Everton, School Sports Partnership, and Cheshire FA. These relationships benefit our students immensely as they explore work placements, advice and employment opportunities.
Our Sports students have progressed onto employment within the industry in roles such as a Fitness Instructor, Sports Development Officer, Sports Nutritionist and Sports Psychologist. Our Football and Basketball Academy students have also gone onto prestigious scholarships at Universities overseas.

“Initially I studied business because it was a subject I enjoyed and was good at it. As I was doing well at basketball and had been playing in competitive matches, I decided to take it further and enrolled on the Sport Level 3 course and combined it with the Basketball Academy. I’ve recently been offered over 30 scholarships with colleges and universities and I’ve decided to go to Broward College in the USA, which will help me to become a Pro Basketball Player in the future.”
