Meet #TeamCCSW!

When you join Cheshire College you don’t just join a College, you join a community. During your time with us you’ll meet lots of new people on your course and within your department, and you’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in lots of extra-curricular activities too.

With so many friendly faces across our College Campuses, we thought it’d be handy to introduce you to staff you’ll get to know really well during your College journey, no matter what course you’re studying…

With more than 46 years’ experience between them, Denis and Andrew, quite literally, know everything there is to know about Cheshire College! As the go-to guys at Crewe Campus, you’ll find them around and about the main entrance chatting to learners and staff and helping in any way they can.

With such a wealth of experience, Denis and Andrew have supported thousands of learners navigate through their College journeys and have some really helpful tips when it comes to making the most of your time with us:

✅ Be inquisitive and ask questions – remember there’s no such thing as a stupid question

✅ Make use of any support offered – there is such a range of support available to help you reach your full potential, don’t let it go to waste

✅ Make lots of friends – your College years will be some of the best of your life, the memories you make will last a lifetime, as will your friendships

✅ Do your best!

Russell (more fondly known as Russ) is the go-to guy at our Ellesmere Port Campus. With such a varied role at the College, Russ can be found all over the Campus supporting learners and staff.

John has worked at Cheshire College for 19 years and is the fountain of all knowledge at our Chester Campus. You’ll find him in our foyer meeting and greeting learners and staff.

Russ and John’s favourite things about working at Cheshire College…

✅ Supporting learners and staff – it is really rewarding when we can help them solve a problem or lend a listening ear.

✅ Seeing learners succeed – there is nothing better than seeing learners accomplish what they set out to do, whether it’s a small obstacle they’ve had to overcome on that day through to completing their course, it means the world.

✅ Going on trips with learners  – we always have so much fun going on trips and visits, and we’re really looking forward to hopefully going on some more this year!
