Cheshire College – South & West is committed to ensuring that all students receive the very highest level of support from the very beginning, to successful completion of their course and moving on to university, training or employment.

Our Careers Team offers a confidential, impartial and accessible service, delivered by professional and highly-qualified staff, across all three Campuses. If we can help you in anyway, we will. Our services are open to anyone, you don’t have to be a current student to book an appointment with the team. We also have our annual Careers and Employment Fair held to celebrate National Careers Week in March.

Who can use our career advice service?

Our services are open to anyone, you don’t have to be a current student to book an appointment with the team. All full-time students have the opportunity to book an appointment with the team at any stage during their studies and also have support on-programme through their Personal Development Tutors where they are encouraged to explore their career options, to create a CV and to develop their employability skills. 
We also invite in guest speakers to inspire and challenge our students, including talks from curriculum-related employers, universities, the Apprenticeship Talent Pool and many more.

If you are a parent or carer of a current or prospective student and want to access our Careers service you can do so by contacting the team

If you are an employer and would like to contribute to the Careers Programme, whether this is speaking to a specific group of students or linking up with the curriculum, please get in touch with the Careers Team. If you are aged 19+ we can help you upskill and invest in your future with one of our FREE adult courses.

When exploring the courses we have available, you may see a fee attached but you’re more than likely to be eligible for a fully-funded enrolment!
