This programme is designed to help you develop the technical, personal and practical skills needed to progress to Level 3 study, including a T Level or an Apprenticeship. Alongside developing your digital skills, you will build confidence, gain experience of the workplace and prepare for your next steps.
As part of the programme, you will complete a Level 2 Certificate in Information and Creative Technology.

The course provides a practical introduction to different areas of digital technology. From creating websites and mobile apps to exploring software development and technology systems, the programme gives you the opportunity to discover your strengths and develop skills for further study.
Alongside your digital qualification, you will complete a Level 2 Higher Project Qualification and take part in a work placement. Individual development activities will support your personal and social skills, while dedicated maths and English classes will help you continue developing these essential areas.
By the end of the programme, you will have gained a broader range of digital skills, workplace experience and personal development to support your progression to a Level 3 course, T Level or Apprenticeship.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, you will be able to progress to the T Level in Digital Production and Design. Over the three years of your T Level journey you will gain a range of skills and experience and substantial experience of working for employers which will give you a number of progression options including:

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.

Do I pay this fee?
Higher Education courses such as HNCs and HNDs can be self-funded through a payment plan. However, for eligible students, a tuition fee loan can fund your course through Student Finance England and you may be eligible for a maintenance loan to support your education.
Please note, you should apply for your loan before the course starts. You only commit to the loan once you begin attending the course.
