Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Co-ordinator

Job Description:

Contract Type:            Permanent

Hours:                           37 hours per week, 39.2 working weeks per year                             

Location:                       Ellesmere Port and Chester campuses


This is an excellent opportunity to join our Learning and Learner Services team to coordinate and facilitate the provision of in class support including the recruitment and training of Learning Support Assistants.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and facilitate the provision of in class support
  • Operational line management of a team of Learning Support Assistants
  • Review and quality assurance of in class support
  • Undertake support reviews and maintain records in a timely manner


Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience of delivering learning support in education.
  • Experience of line managing and leading a team.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships.

Salary: £27,472 to £30,910 per annum pro rata
