Job Description:

Salary: £27,472 – £30,910 (pro rata per annum)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, part year working 39.2 weeks per year

Location: Crewe Campus

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant Co-ordinator to join our team at our Crewe Campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with knowledge and experience of special educational needs and disabilities to support with the provision of a quality learning support service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • to be responsible for the operational line management of a team of Learning Support Assistants and Communication Support Assistants;
  • to effectively timetable the team of Learning Support Assistants and Communication Support Assistants in order to meet the needs of learners including EHCP support requirements;
  • maintain accurate records of the support provided and be able to provide data as required; and
  • promote best practice in the delivery of learning support to ensure that it meets the needs of learners and facilitates independence and progression.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent);
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English (or equivalent);
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of a wide range of additional needs;
  • Experience of delivering learning support in education;
  • Excellent organisational and digital literacy skills; and
  • Enhanced DBS check.
