Job Title: Futures Co-ordinator – Fixed term to February 2022 or the return of the current postholder (whichever occurs first)

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to join our College team to develop and increase participation in the College’s Futures Programme.  To include; the Scholars, the Honours and the UniReady programmes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on excellence and achievement opportunities for all Vocational and A level students.
  • Promote and maintain Cheshire College South & West’s reputation as a North West Hub for Pembroke North.
  • Encourage and support student aspirations through the Futures Programme, to include: University visits, Academic workshops, external summer schools, extension classes and Employer Readiness days.
  • Develop links with universities, schools and organisations with the aim of ensuring that students make informed progression choices.


Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Good Honours Degree, or equivalent.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Relevant experience of working with and supporting young people (14-19).
  • Knowledge and experience of the wider Higher Education provision including high stakes universities e.g. Sutton Trust 30.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships.

Salary: £27,472 to £30,910 per annum
